The Sparkle Green Metallic MX5 Berkeley was the last Special edition NA / MK1 series.
Each of the 400 models sported a number sequenced badge at the rear of the centre console.

The success of the MX5 by this stage had been established by it's being known as 
"The Worlds Best Selling Sports Car"
