special version was finished in Classic Red and sported
14" alloy wheels and a free colour coded detachable
hard top
The
interior was the same as a base model MX-5 with standard
trim and cloth seats
The
Isola was probably one of the least equipped special
version MX-5 that Mazda produced. However, standard
specification also included driver and passenger airbags,
seat belt pre-tensioners, boot release, security immobiliser,
power steering, electric aerial, heated rear screen,
radio cassette unit and a high level stop lamp
